Attibele and Anekal, and why the taluk headquarters matters

These two names are usually compared as markets. Compared as records, one of them is the headquarters of the taluk both belong to — and that is the only difference between them with any paperwork attached.

Administrative facts on this page last reviewed on 25 August 2026. Where a fact could not be confirmed against a government source it is marked “Not verified” and listed again at the foot of the page.

The short answer

Anekal is the taluk; Attibele is in it

Anekal is the headquarters town of Anekal taluk, Bengaluru Urban district. Attibele is a town within the same taluk. So they are not two taluks being compared — they are a taluk headquarters and a town inside it, sharing a district, a state, a regulator and a registration department.

Our interest, stated

Who wrote this, and what they sell

SUYUG has no ongoing project in either place. What we do have on the Attibele arm is announced and unregistered, which under Section 3(1) of the RERA Act means it cannot be advertised, booked or sold — and we do not. That is worth stating plainly on a page that names it.

Side by side

What each place is, administratively

Nothing here is an opinion about either place. Every line is a field on a record, and every line you can ask an office to confirm.

Point by point

The comparison

Each row names where it was read from. Rows we could not confirm against a government source are marked, and stay on the page rather than being quietly dropped.

What this page does not know

Left unverified, on purpose

A comparison page is only as useful as the things it refuses to guess. A wrong sub-registrar office or a wrong hobli sends a reader to the wrong counter holding the wrong opinion of their own title, so these are stated as gaps rather than filled in.

  • The hobli for either Attibele or Anekal town.

  • The class of urban local body governing each — town panchayat, town municipal council or city municipal council.

  • Which side of the state boundary any specific parcel near Attibele falls on. Read it off the revenue record, not off a map pin.

What to do

Verify it yourself, in this order

This works whoever you buy from, including when that is not us.

  1. 01

Confirm the state and district from the revenue record before anything else — this is border country and a map pin is not a record.

  2. 02

Get the revenue village and survey number, then pull the RTC from Bhoomi.

  3. 03

Find the sub-registrar office for that village on Kaveri.

  4. 04

If a project is named to you, ask for its K-RERA number. If there is none, Section 3(1) means it may not be sold to you at all.

Where the answers live

The offices that can settle each point

We publish no stamp-duty, registration, GST or interest rate anywhere on this site. A rate on a marketing page is wrong the day it changes; the department's own page never is. So the department is named and linked instead.

Karnataka Real Estate Regulatory Authority (K-RERA)

Search a Karnataka registration number and read the promoter, the survey numbers, the approval date and the validity the authority itself holds.
