Sompura Gate and Kada Agrahara on the record

Both names sit on the same corridor and both are read off signboards rather than off revenue records. This page sets out what the record calls each, which taluk and regulator apply, and which of the two facts below we can prove.

Administrative facts on this page last reviewed on 25 August 2026. Where a fact could not be confirmed against a government source it is marked “Not verified” and listed again at the foot of the page.

The short answer

Same district, same taluk, same regulator

Both fall in Bengaluru Urban district, Anekal taluk, Karnataka, and any project on either is registered with K-RERA and registered as a deed with the Karnataka Department of Stamps and Registration. What differs is the revenue village a parcel sits in — and the village, not the locality name, is what the certificate and the sub-registrar office go by.

Our interest, stated

Who wrote this, and what they sell

We build at Sompura Gate on Sarjapur Road and we do not build at Kada Agrahara. That is an interest, and it is the reason this page compares only things you can put to a clerk: nothing below rests on our opinion of either place, and a reader who checks every row and then buys at Kada Agrahara has still got what they came for.

Side by side

What each place is, administratively

Nothing here is an opinion about either place. Every line is a field on a record, and every line you can ask an office to confirm.

Point by point

The comparison

Each row names where it was read from. Rows we could not confirm against a government source are marked, and stay on the page rather than being quietly dropped.

What the revenue record calls itNot verifiedSompura Village, Sarjapura Hobli, Anekal Taluk. “Sompura Gate” is a junction name, not a revenue unit.Kada Agrahara, in Anekal taluk. We do not state its hobli, because we have not confirmed it.The gap between the name on the hoarding and the name on the record is where mis-sold land lives. Ask for the village and survey number; a seller who will not give both is not describing a specific parcel.Read from: Sompura's entry is transcribed from the K-RERA certificates for our two projects there. What this page does not know

Left unverified, on purpose

A comparison page is only as useful as the things it refuses to guess. A wrong sub-registrar office or a wrong hobli sends a reader to the wrong counter holding the wrong opinion of their own title, so these are stated as gaps rather than filled in.

  • The hobli Kada Agrahara falls under. We know the taluk; we have not confirmed the hobli against a government source, so the page does not state one.

  • The gram panchayat or local body for either place.

  • The sub-registrar office covering any specific parcel on either side.

What to do

Verify it yourself, in this order

This works whoever you buy from, including when that is not us.

  1. 01

Ask for the revenue village and survey number, not the locality name.

  2. 02

Pull the RTC for that survey number from Bhoomi.

  3. 03

Use Kaveri to find the sub-registrar office for that village, then get the encumbrance certificate from it.

  4. 04

If a project is being sold, search its K-RERA number on the authority's portal and check the survey numbers on the certificate match the ones you were shown.

Where the answers live

The offices that can settle each point

We publish no stamp-duty, registration, GST or interest rate anywhere on this site. A rate on a marketing page is wrong the day it changes; the department's own page never is. So the department is named and linked instead.

Karnataka Real Estate Regulatory Authority (K-RERA)

Search a Karnataka registration number and read the promoter, the survey numbers, the approval date and the validity the authority itself holds.

Karnataka Department of Stamps and Registration (Kaveri)

Find the sub-registrar office for a survey number, search an encumbrance certificate, and read the duty and fee the department currently charges.

Nothing on this page is asserted as “the rule” without the instrument it comes from, so you can read the instrument rather than us.

Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016, Section 3(1)

Registration Act, 1908, Section 17
Instruments transferring immovable property above the prescribed value must be registered, and Section 28 requires registration in the office within whose sub-district the property lies.

Karnataka Stamp Act, 1957
