Sompura Gate and Dommasandra on the record

Two junctions on the same road, often set against each other in listings on grounds nobody can check. Here they are set against each other on grounds anybody can: the district, the taluk, the regulator and the office that would register the deed.

Administrative facts on this page last reviewed on 25 August 2026. Where a fact could not be confirmed against a government source it is marked “Not verified” and listed again at the foot of the page.

The short answer

The regulator and the registry are the same for both

Both sit in Bengaluru Urban district, Karnataka, and both are K-RERA territory registered through the Karnataka Department of Stamps and Registration. So the questions people usually ask about these two — which is “better”, which will “grow” — are not answerable, while the ones that decide whether a title is clean are, and they are the same questions on both sides.

Our interest, stated

Who wrote this, and what they sell

We build at Sompura Gate on Sarjapur Road and nowhere near Dommasandra. Read every row knowing that, and check every row anyway — none of them depends on taking our word for it.

Side by side

What each place is, administratively

Nothing here is an opinion about either place. Every line is a field on a record, and every line you can ask an office to confirm.

Point by point

The comparison

Each row names where it was read from. Rows we could not confirm against a government source are marked, and stay on the page rather than being quietly dropped.

What this page does not know

Left unverified, on purpose

A comparison page is only as useful as the things it refuses to guess. A wrong sub-registrar office or a wrong hobli sends a reader to the wrong counter holding the wrong opinion of their own title, so these are stated as gaps rather than filled in.

  • The hobli covering Dommasandra.

  • The gram panchayat or municipal body for either place.

  • The sub-registrar office for any specific survey number on either side.

What to do

Verify it yourself, in this order

This works whoever you buy from, including when that is not us.

  1. 01

Get the revenue village and survey number in writing.

  2. 02

Pull the RTC from Bhoomi and read the recorded holder and extent.

  3. 03

Find the sub-registrar office on Kaveri and take the encumbrance certificate from it.

  4. 04

For any project, search its K-RERA number and check the certificate's survey numbers against the ones you were shown.

Where the answers live

The offices that can settle each point

We publish no stamp-duty, registration, GST or interest rate anywhere on this site. A rate on a marketing page is wrong the day it changes; the department's own page never is. So the department is named and linked instead.

Karnataka Real Estate Regulatory Authority (K-RERA)

Search a Karnataka registration number and read the promoter, the survey numbers, the approval date and the validity the authority itself holds.

Karnataka Department of Stamps and Registration (Kaveri)

Find the sub-registrar office for a survey number, search an encumbrance certificate, and read the duty and fee the department currently charges.

Act and section for every statutory statement

Nothing on this page is asserted as “the rule” without the instrument it comes from, so you can read the instrument rather than us.
